Built for marketers, not data teams. Dashdig enforces your UTM rules the moment a link is born — so every click, scan, and conversion traces back to the campaign that earned it.
The tagging discipline your reports need, enforced at the moment the link is made.
Type what the link is for: Nike.Summer.Sale. That name is the link, and it's the row in your report. No lookup table, no shared doc of what 3xK9m2L meant.
bit.ly/3xK9m2L dashdig.com/Nike.Summer.Sale
Decide which UTM parameters your workspace requires. Dashdig can let anything through, warn on a missing utm_medium, or refuse to create the link until it's fixed. Per workspace, your call.
Clicks arrive already sorted by source, medium, and campaign. The report reads like the link, because it is the link.
Everything that keeps a campaign row readable, from click to conversion.
dashdig.com/Nike.Summer.Sale instead of bit.ly/3xK9m2L. Dot notation reads like a folder path, survives being read aloud on a call, and fits on a business card. Your own domain if you want it.
Learn MoreUntagged links are how attribution dies. Set the required parameters for your workspace once, then choose how strictly to hold the line: off logs and moves on, warn flags the gap and creates the link anyway, block refuses until it's tagged. Applies to everyone on the workspace, including the person in a hurry.
Learn MoreClicks broken out by source, medium, campaign, referrer, device, and country — and, once you switch on conversion tracking for a link, the leads and sales that followed. Add our snippet to your site or point your Stripe webhook at us.
Learn MoreOne code, repointable destination. Print the poster in March, change where it goes in June. Scans are attributed like any other click.
Learn MoreA free plugin on the destination side, not just the link side — 650+ downloads and a 5-star rating on WordPress.org. Install it on the site you're driving traffic to and the loop closes without a tag manager.
Learn MoreA REST API on Pro and above, plus an MCP server so Claude and other agents can create and query links directly. Ask for a campaign link in chat; get one back, tagged to your workspace rules.
Learn MoreDashdig reads your destination and proposes a dot-notation name like Nike.Summer.Sale — the campaign it belongs to, spelled out. That name is the link, and it's the row in your report. Edit it or regenerate with one click, and point it at your own domain if you want it.
Before: bit.ly/3xK9m2L
After: dashdig.com/Nike.Summer.Sale
Decide which UTM parameters your workspace requires, then decide how strictly to hold the line. Off logs the gap and moves on. Warn creates the link and flags the missing parameter. Block refuses until it's tagged, and names the parameter that's missing. Set per workspace, and it applies to everyone on it.
The rule holds wherever links get made — dashboard, REST API, bulk import, browser extension, MCP, and the WordPress plugin. Example: utm_medium is required by this workspace's rules
Every link gets a QR code automatically, and the code encodes the Dashdig link rather than the destination. Print the poster in March and change where it points in June without reprinting anything. Scans carry the same source, medium, and campaign tags as any other click, so print sits in the same report as email and social.
Back to Features ↑Every click is broken out by source, medium, campaign, referrer, device, and country. Because the tags were enforced when the link was made, the breakdown is complete instead of mostly (not set). Export any of it as CSV.
To carry that through to revenue, switch on conversion tracking for a link. Dashdig then appends a click ID to the destination and records the lead or sale that follows. That last step needs the destination instrumented — either drop this snippet on your site, or point your Stripe webhook at us and we read the click ID off the checkout session.

Most shorteners only touch the link. The free WordPress plugin works on the site you're driving traffic to: install it, paste one API key, and the tracking script is injected for you — no tag manager, no theme edits. The Dashdig Humanizer block shortens URLs from inside the post editor, and the same workspace UTM rules apply there too.

Back to Features ↑A REST API on Pro and above creates, updates, and queries links programmatically. Alongside it runs an MCP server, so Claude and other agents can create links and pull analytics directly — ask for a campaign link in chat and get one back, tagged to your workspace rules. Agents get the same enforcement as everyone else: a blocked link comes back with the parameter it's missing, in a form the agent can act on.

Those are link managers — they shorten and they track clicks. Dashdig starts from the report: the link is named for the campaign it belongs to, and the UTM tags are enforced when it's created rather than audited afterwards. The slug itself is human-readable too — dashdig.com/Nike.Summer.Running.Sale instead of bit.ly/3xK9fML — so people can see where they're going before they click. You can absolutely shorten a link with Dashdig. That's not what it's for.
Making a link carry its own attribution. The campaign, source, and medium are attached and validated at creation, so the click that arrives three weeks later already knows where it came from. Humanize and Shortenize are the other two halves of the same idea: the URL stays readable and short, while Attributize makes sure it also reports cleanly.
No. Dashdig writes standard UTM parameters, so Google Analytics, HubSpot, and everything else reads them exactly as they do today. You keep your reports. They just stop having gaps.
Whatever you decided. Off lets it through and logs it. Warn creates the link and flags the missing parameter. Block refuses and tells the person which parameter is missing. Teams usually start on warn for a fortnight, then move to block once the habit sticks.
Yes, on Starter and above. Point a CNAME at Dashdig and your links read go.yourcompany.com/Spring.Webinar.Email. Certificates are handled for you.
Existing links keep redirecting. You drop to the free plan's limit for creating new ones, and analytics retention shortens, but nothing you've already printed or posted breaks. Links that die when the invoice does are how shorteners earn their reputation, and it isn't happening here.
Yes. The free plan gives you 5 human-readable links per month, click analytics, and auto-generated QR codes. No credit card required.
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. There are no long-term contracts.
When you paste a URL, our AI reads the content of the destination page and extracts the key topics, brand names, and context. It then generates a short, meaningful slug. You can always customize or regenerate it with one click.
Yes. Every shortened link automatically includes a QR code that you can download and use in print materials, business cards, presentations, or anywhere else. The QR code updates if you change the destination URL.
Yes to both. The WordPress plugin is free on WordPress.org — just search for 'Dashdig' in your plugins directory. The REST API is available on the Pro plan and above for programmatic URL shortening.
