1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dashdig ("the Service") at dashdig.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Dashdig is a sole proprietorship (LLC forming May 2026) headquartered in the United States.

2. Description of Service

Dashdig is an AI-powered URL shortener SaaS. We create human-readable shortened links from long URLs and provide click analytics. The Service includes our website (dashdig.com), API, WordPress plugin, JavaScript widget, and browser extension. We use AI to generate meaningful slugs based on destination page content.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dashdig to:

• Distribute spam, malware, or phishing content
• Shorten URLs that point to illegal content or that facilitate illegal activity
• Use URL shortening for deceptive purposes (e.g., disguising malicious or inappropriate destinations)
• Infringe intellectual property or other rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Overload or disrupt our infrastructure or circumvent rate limits

We may remove links and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

5. Intellectual Property

Dashdig owns the platform, including the dashdig.com brand, logo, and technology. You retain ownership of the content you link to and the links you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your URLs and redirect traffic as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Free and Paid Plans

We offer a freemium model: a free plan with limited usage and paid plans with higher limits and features. Paid plans are billed via Stripe. You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice.

7. API Usage

Use of the Dashdig API is subject to rate limits per your plan tier. You must not exceed these limits or attempt to circumvent them. We may throttle or suspend API access for abuse. API use is governed by these Terms and any separate API documentation we provide.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DASHDIG AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate use of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account and access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may delete or retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. For material changes, we may notify you by email or a prominent notice on the site.
